How do they work:
Photovoltaic (PV) modules generate electricity when they are exposed to sunlight.- Grown or cast silicon ingots, sliced into wafers, are the building blocks of almost all solar electric panels. Once the wafers are treated with negatively and positively charged semi-conductors, they become solar cells. When light energy hits the solar cell, it excites the electrons within the cell and produces a DC current. This is what we refer to as the PV effect, or more commonly call Photovoltaics. A PV module is simply a group of PV cells wired together and encased in a rigid frame.

(Up to 330 watts)- Our kits include the PV module, charge controller, mounting brackets, hardware, electrical connectors, power cable, and installation guide for the DIY folks. Or, we can install it for you. Trimline Design Centre-€™s RV Power Kit packages:Camper 50 Kit:
- We call this our starter kit. Good for campers and small trailers with low power requirements, such as a couple 15 watt lights, and a water pump. Ideal for the hunters, fisherman and family camping trips.
Weekender 72 Kit:-
We call this our intermediate kit. Good for those long weekends where you have a couple lights, a water pump, a TV DVD unit, and a stereo going and no hook ups.
Holiday 110 Kit:-
We call this our advance kit. Great for those summer holidays and extended trips where you need power on a daily basis and may have limited roof space.
Snowbird 220 Kit:-
We call this our full time system. This will provide enough power to keep batteries charged, run an inverter for the AC appliances and other high demand loads.- -
